WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Every single person is unique and different and has something to offer the world. But deep down people are searching for meaning, connection, and why they are here. Our lives are not an accident. We were created by a loving God who desires a relationship with His creation.

The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again, eternally triumphant over his enemies, so that there is now no condemnation for those who believe.

We need to respond to this invitation.

Simply hearing this good news is not enough, we must believe it in our hearts and then confess our sinful brokenness to Jesus, asking God for forgiveness for our sins, accepting Jesus into our hearts as our Lord and Saviour and choosing to trust in His Word instead of trusting in ourselves. This is when we can begin to understand God’s original purpose for our lives and the lives of others.

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 NLT

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

A prayer for salvation

Dear Jesus, I want to know you personally. I come before You to acknowledge my mistakes and seek your forgiveness. Thank you for dying for me. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross and the opportunity for a relationship with you.

Now what?

Jesus responds to a sincere prayer from the heart. It's amazing because He loves you and wants to show you how to walk away from sin and into the freedom of knowing Him.

Once you have prayed, you have just begun to live His abundant life. Jesus promises eternal life to all who accept Him and that He will never leave us.

To grow in your relationship with God, read the bible daily and pray to Jesus. Tell God about the things going on in your life and ask for His guidance in all that you do.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT

Do not quit but keep on pressing in. Our feelings can lie to us, telling us that it won’t work out, but choose daily to trust God and believe His promises in the bible. We highly recommend that you join a church where they teach the Word of God and where you can find other believers to do life with.
